Our Admission Process - Academic Year 2024-25

Admission Process

The admission of pupils is subject to availability and according to the criteria fixed by the Seth Juggilal Poddar Academy (age, school documents...) The pupil must be introduced by his/her father, mother, or legal guardian, who must provide all the documents listed in the admission form. Seth Juggilal Poddar Academy offers admissions to Playgroup, Nursery, Junior Kindergarten, Senior Kindergarten and classes I onwards.

Playgroup : 2 years by June 30th of the year admission
Nursery : 3 years by December 31st of the year admission
Junior KG : 4 years by December 31st of the year admission
Senior KG : 5 years by December 31st of the year admission
1st Standard : 6 years by December 31st of the year admission

The admission process is as follows:

• Admissions are given subject to fulfillment of admission criteria and availability of seats, without any reference to caste, creed, class, gender or political inclination.
• Admission is a privilege and not a right. Rights of admission are reserved with the school management-and the school management can accept or reject any admission without assigning any reason.
• Affix and attach the necessary documents specified in the Admission Form.

Stage I : Online Process

1. Visit www.sjpoddaracademy.edu.in.
2. Click on "Admission Process".
3. Fill in the General Information Form with full details.
4. Upload all the original documents listed in the Admission Information
5. Click on "Submit"
6. Once the form is approved our experts will call you on registered mobile number in 8-10 working days.

• Online Admission Process for year 2024 -2025 will start from November 20, 2023 to December 31, 2023.

Stage II : Offline Process

1. After confirmation, visit the school office to collect the Admission Form with prospectus onthe stipulated date and time. (The cost of the Admission Form is Rs.500 which is non-refundable).
2. Fill in the General Information Form with full details.
3. Submit all the uploaded original documents for verification at the time of admission with one photo copy self attested. Originals will be returned to you after Verification. (Documents required are listed on the Admission Information on page.2)
4. All the necessary information regarding the Admission will be provided at the School Office.( Office Timings: 10.00am to 01.00pm)

• Original Birth Certificate. For certificates in Languages other than English, please bring a notarized copy of the birth certificate translated in English.
• Proof of Residence must be in the name of either parent(Any two of the following documents can be produced as a proof of residence). (Original & Photocopy)
  1. Valid Passport.
  2. Current Electricity Bill.
  3. Current Telephone Bill.
  4. Registered Agreement Copy (in case of rental or leased apartment).
  5. Ration Card Copy.
• Aadhaar Card of Father, Mother and Student (Compulsory). (Original & Photocopy)
• Income Proof – Salary Slip or Income tax return certificate .(Photocopy)
• Original School Leaving Certificate from recognized School with correct School UDISE number and Student ID number.
• Photocopy of Progress/ Report Card of the Previous School. (Filling of the form is not a confirmation of Admission.)

Admission will be confirmed only after:

1. Approval / Confirmation of Admission.

2. Paying the stipulated fees, as mentioned within the specified time period.

3. Completion of required documents as listed (In case Transfer Certificate cannot be produced at the time of admission, it should be submitted latest before the school starts.)

The school days at SETH JUGGILAL PODDAR ACADEMY (ICSE) are Monday to Friday (Five Days Week) with the following timings:

The time given above is indicative in nature and is subject to change. The specific timings shall be declared at the time of commencement of the school.

Seth Juggilal Poddar Academy (ICSE) follows an academic calendar of April to March with the summer vacation in April end to June. The school has a fortnight long Diwali vacation in October/November and another fortnight long Christmas vacation in December/January. This academic calender is indicative and is subject to change.

We believe that the wearing of school uniform, gives children a unique identity. Children feel proud to belong to a good school and the wearing of school uniform is a clear indication that they belong to that school. The colour and pattern of the uniform will be displayed on the Notice Board at appropriate time.

To improve academic performance of students & enable instant assessment of learning outcomes in classes, we have introduced Computer Aided Instructions- DIGITAL CLASS in our classrooms.

• Brings abstract and difficult curriculum concepts to life.
• Makes learning an enjoyable experience for students.
• Enables multi-sensory learning in classrooms.

All Classes from Jr. Kg to Std. X are given computer education with Internet Facilities, Each students allowed to use Computers Individually in our spacious, modern and well equipped Computer Lab.

• Parents, on being informed about the school's admission decision, will have to pay the fees as stipulated within the specified period.
• All Payment must be made by Cheque only in favourof A.B.V.M.A.JATIYA KOSH SJ PODDAR ACADEMY

• Fees will be paid in advance. It can be either for the Full year or Quaterly.
• Under no circumstances are the fees, once paid, either refundable or transferable.
• In addition to the annual fee above, Parents/ guardians will be required to meet the expenses of set of text books, uniforms, Public / Board examinations and other consequential expenses related to the education of the child.
• The fees and charges mentioned are subject to change from time to time, at the discretion of Seth Juggilal Poddar Academy management. Seth Juggilal Poddar Academy management shall communicate the effected changes to the parentsfrom time to time .
• Parents and Students are requested to follow all the rules and regulation mentioned in the Calendar strictly.
