Our classroom

Pre Primary Section

We at SJPA believe that each child is unique and follows his or her natural path of development. Following a curriculum which is true to the original method, we endeavour to enrich the social, cognitive, emotional, and physical aspects of the child’s growth. Through the thoughtfully prepared environment conceptualized solely for the children, the innate desire to explore and discover is cultivated thus helping them become confident and independent lifelong learners.

At SJPA, we engage our tiny tots in various activities which stimulate their brains. Engagement through age-appropriate activities for pre-schoolers maximizes their learning and development. This promotes active learning, in turn promoting long term retention and a boost to their curiosity and inquisitiveness. For example, role playing, group projects, dress up days and show and tell.

At SJPA, we provide a platform for our little ones to explore the world around them. Exploration for toddlers is to play with what interests them so as to satiate their curiosity. Exploratory activities stimulate neural connections. During exploration children are using all their senses while they discover, examine and learn by looking, touching, listening and moving.

The highest form of research for children is through play. We at SJPA, provide our little ones with ample opportunities to play. Free play is the reason why children build language skills and learn to interact with the world around them. Play allows kids to use their creativity while developing their imagination, dexterity, as well as physical, cognitive, and emotional strength. It plays a very important role in the development of the younger children as they focus on the activity at hand, for e.g., putting together a puzzle or playing with a ball, etc.

At SJPA, our children grow when they engage, explore and play. When children are allowed and encouraged to explore through engagement and play activities their growth results into a healthy development of cognitive skills. Growth of a child is an amalgamation of cognitive skills which include attention, short-term and long-term memory, logic and reasoning, auditory processing and speed, problem solving, reading, etc.

The first impressions absorbed by children indirectly shape their future. It is thus crucial that the school provides a myriad of experiences during this critical juncture in order for them to build a foundation for a lifetime love for learning. We at SJPA are extremely proud to be equipped with all the required infrastructure to impart the best education, through the guidance of our dedicated teachers who endeavour to enrich our little ones with the necessary parameters and prepare them for the global world.

CO-CURRICULAR LEARNING

A world of fresh ideas lies beyond academics. Our co-curricular programme is structured to shape our children holistically. Our specialised infrastructure and coaching empowers the children to build and enhance their skills beyond the academic realm.

In our endeavour to provide world class education, we guide our students through the approach of Learn-Reinforce-Practice-Apply. With a focus on learning, this approach revolves around co-curricular activities where children Learn, Reinforce, Practice and Apply knowledge, concepts and skills. Together, this makes the student an independent learner, facilitated by teachers and aided by technology.

  • LEARNING concepts with multimedia tools and exemplifying through visual and oratory content
  • REINFORCEMENT with technologically-enhanced learning
  • PRACTICE with experiments and projects
  • APPLICATION of concepts in real life

SJPA has collaborated with the MICM app. Blueprints, summative papers, sample papers, syllabus, circulars, worksheets, lesson plans, timetables, homework, and event pictures form some of the material shared on the MICM app.
